Conway does not hire recent grads

seeing aas how they are posting jobs for students and trainees ( those with less than a year experience) I'd say you picked a bad day to ask that question.

 

I asked if it was for ltl or truckload because in some areas they don't hire recent grads and other areas they do. Like where I live, I was told ltl no recent grads but i could have got on with truckload right out if school.

For LTL I wouldn't expect that they would hire a recent grad, it's a pretty good job and they have plenty of applicants.

 

Yeah they do hire recent grads but I've read on here that its very rare

Con-Way was going to take me right out of AIT last June. However they were not offering any type of tuition reimbursement and you cannot be fired from any job within the last ten years of employment. Was applying for Truckload OTR.


That is what kept me for driving for Conway because I was fired from a job 7 years ago that made me a bad risk for a truck driver I guess in Con-way eyes??


Con-way was wrong about that and missed out on a good,safe,loyal driver.

 

Your such a bad person because of something that happened 7 years ago....you should be ashamed of yourself

They are hiring students for the Truckload side as I am one. My wife and I came to oreintaiton on the 9th and are waiting for our finishers. As far as being fired from a job it just can't be your last one. Call joplin @ 417-623-5229 and ask for recruiting dept. They should be able to tell you if you meet the critaria or not.
