Rayville Pilot - Exit 138 in Louisiana on I-20. Went in for a shower, and their kiosk doesn't work, they're still using the old keys. Go in for the shower and it's a mildew sauna. Decide to brave it (really needing the shower and shave), As I am adjusting the water temp during shower, the handle brakes and it becomes SCALDING hot. Now I like a hot shower, but this was turning my skin a bright pink on contact.

After I got dressed I reported it and asked for the shower credit back, they messed with it for about 20 minutes before admitting they didn't know how.

    This place sucks!

About the only place I'll stop in LA is the Pilot at the 109. And only if I need stuff at Wally, which is right next door.

    sonic50 Thanks this.

Beaux Bridge, I like that one. I also like Cash's just out of Baton Rouge for the food.

    48Packard Thanks this.

I should have posted "the only one of the Pilots I'd stop at". Yeah, Cash's is decent. Haven't been there in a long time, though...

What about that place right at the TX border on I-10 with the strip bar across the street. Some good food at the tstop there.

I will have to give them credit. I was bumping my 14 one late night heading west on 20 and that Pilot at the 138 actually had a few spots left after having no luck at any of the truckstops at the 171.
