Did you say you live in CT? I see allot of postings for Companies in Fl. Im not sure if I missed something. Only reason I'm asking is because I'm from CT and you're asking the same question I had.

That is my biggest issue. I would be willing to team but I wont team with some random Joe that the company "thinks" would be a good match for you. I am not stereotyping but I cant be with some experienced trucker that wants someone to do the #### work and doesnt stop for showers and that just wants a slave. I know there are a lot of good drivers out there but if you cant trust them from the start and dont know them it just wont work. Also if you dont get along " I know this from relative experience" the company has the option to term you because you are considered in their eyes to be uncooperative.

There are starter companies that will train u right out of school for flatbed. The problem is being out FL is if they have flatbed freight coming into the state. You go out you have to come back with minimal deadhead miles. Roehl has mostly van drivers out of FL me being one of them. Flatbed and curtainside I've heard there's not enough freight to come back on your home time. You'll just have to call of the companies you consider, find out what they offer and go from there.

You cant bank on what other people say or even consider what they say this is the internet and people lie and make it look worse than what it is. People also dont tell both sides of the storys so actually its both of there faults not just the company. If you want flatbed i say the easiest place to go so far is falcon transport outta youngstown ohio. If you have at least 6 months to a year work history go to tmc, maverick, us express, or star transport in illinois. Im going to orientation with schneider in indianapolis. Dry van. Your work history isnt a huge deal unless you go truck company to truck company. There awsome and they actually call you back when they say they will. And have been super nice. They pay twice as much for orientation. Like $460 a week completed. Just some help i guess
