Heading back to Lewiston for orientation tomorrow. I am getting to know the town pretty well. I don't know when I will be heading out on the road. My recruiter has me going back to Spokane after orientation and my mentor will pick me up there. Guess I better be packed and ready to go. Very excited! See you down the road!

just a thought on washing on the road. They make gel packs now look like dishwaser packs. Nice for the truck nothing spills

Well, orientation is all done. Now I just need a mentor. Apparently not many want to take a woman. Even one my age. So hopefully one will come along soon. Anxious to get on the road and get my 240 in so I can make some money. Would like to get in my own truck and have some months of solo experience before winter sets in. Hope all is going well for the Swifties I have met along the way.

@qtyning that sucks, there should be some decent woman trainers out there, I know a friend of mine had a mentor named Sean from Lewiston that he really liked. I hope all go`s well for you. I am leaving Monday for Orientation in Troutdale. Kinda bummed that we don't get paid for it, I thought on the original paperwork they gave me it said that orientation was paid but, all is well.

Hey guys, and Gal (qt) my time is flying by. The miles, trips and towns all run together. My mentor is an ex-accountant and is very good at this whole business.
You really have to look at it like your own business to succeed. The mile are there, you sometimes have to know "how to ask," once you get to the "who to ask"

115+ driving hours so far, today will break the half way point!

Mid term went well. Tests 100% Interview was simple. 200 hrs behind me and the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter.
