I was all about not having someone looking over your shoulder and breathing down your neck thing. Seems at PAM though the dispatchers are called "Driver Managers" and they think they are just that .. .Managers. They qualcom at 3am in the morning to get you up and moving, they qualcom when you are driving "whats your eta? Are you going to make it?" even when you are 10 hours ahead of scheadule. They hollar and yell at you on the phone for whatever reason, and the "you better do this or that". Its all quite amusing as they think they can do this but have no real supervisory power, can't fire you. But still its a nuisance and am already looking for another company that has real dispatchers and not the snivel I get at PAM. Maybe I just got a bad one.
