Correct. The organization was staffed by @ 800 employees. 90% were female , masters degrees in library science , liberated and assertive ! There were effeminate , or homosexual males that fit into the culture , were docile and subserviant. Our group , the maintenance and construction, logistics , grounds , HVAC etc. division was the only division that was predominently male. I was the director and worked an objective program of preventative and predictive maintenance for some 30 buildings , 700,000 sq. ft. under roof. I did not socialize, avoided meetings that had absolutely nothing to do with my activities , refused to join in political fun raising , attend seminars in other states and go shopping with the " girls" . I was at one manager's meeting where the topic of discussion became A conference in San Francisco and having the opportunity to attend the " gay pride parade " . At that point I excused myself and returned to my work. So , yes, absolutely , there were males who were androgynous wimps , and gay males who qualified as " official women " . Then there were the workers that rode motorcycles to work, went hunting and fishing , got into an occasional fist fight , failed to wear dockers and gucci shoes , actuall got dirty at work ( I was given A written reprimand for having grease on my pants ) , A " paper your file tactic " in so called progressive discipline protocols. 15 years of 24/7 down the tubes . Energy management and waste minimization programs designed and instituted that saved , on an annual basis , more than I made. Kipling had it right in his 1911 poem. maybe it had less to do with you, and more to do with the company not wanting to pay for a pension. It may have been purely financial. But that's still wrong, and illegal.
You know, they fire you a day before you are due to retire.

yes carolina cargo is an bad company I know guys that went there and told how they were, they have nasty ragged out equipment,only 10 cents an mile u get no benefits at all,no bobtail pay,they put false information on your dac reports when you dont stay with the company which an attorney today has filed an claim on them for that for some drivers.so the kind of company that they are I dont see no one taking uo for them unless they have their own people pretending to be someone else post good stuff about them,hell if any trucker think they are decent just go there an work an see for yourselves.no orientation pay neither as guys have explained.the trucks are unsafe and nasty,u will get dirty soon as you slide in the seat only God knows what has been in those trucks know convicted murders,child molesters,drug dealers etc. has been in them.the few I know had drug charges that was working for them. how would you like to drive to california and back for only 500.00 after they get the paperwork.they only get paid when paperwork is turned in to them also. Ive listened about this company for an while and recently.very disrespectful workers that works in the office there also.
