Mic. I want to run reefer but the website shows they don't hire reefers from FL. Aren't you from FL?

 

Yes and No.... I claim Florida for Tax and Army reasons so I go there once a month....but my family lives in Tomah wisconsin...so that helps me get into that division.....

If you talk nice to your FM you might be able to do reefer...just getting home is going to suck cause You will have to take a van since we don't have reefer service in FL...(which I don't get cause of all the citris and the fact that reefer freight in FL is running about $4/mi)...

Plus if you look at the website it says we don't have Flat bedders in FL either....but I know we got a few trainers in the southern part...plus I have also seen a flatbed and a silver IH in the DY too....

Don't quote me but I think once your in...you might be able to change divisions anyway...its worth asking...all they can tell you is no...

After delivering in Murfreesboro was sent to pick up at Logan Aluminum in Russellville. That place is just a barrel of laughs. Plus I picked up a piece of steel in one of my super singles a couple mi;es for getting there. The TPMS actually works great. I could see the gauge showing number three going down in pressure rather rapidly.
Deliver in Chicago at Western Intermodal tomorrow. Any hints about that place??

meh...I am still waiting on my 1st reefer load....right now I am in East St Louis at GATT...tried relaying off with no luck...so deliver tomorrow during rush hour then pick up in edwardsville going to Tomah....so maybe I can go home and see the kiddos for the night.....I am suspecting that I will start pulling reefers after this cause I need to grab load locks and stuff...plus the reefer fleet guy said they would run me to the mothership for my load out of the house in Tomah....
