    Like I said I dont think even you can make your idea of compressing all the air under the hood work. I know losing all the cac and piping restriction is an interesting thought its just not gonna work very well.

    ya got me on that one, dag gone my innovative thought process has been shot down

    Actually the compressor cover is being modified at the moment........actually so is the turbine wheel and housing since that picture was taken.

    before it's all done it will have some pretty yellow paint on it too.

    It's hell when ya spend all that time bolting everything together, to take it back apart after a few minutes of running it. I'm a glutton for punishment

    If I can turn it(it's a 82)..........watch out

    One of those turbos is expensive enough. That thing has so many alky/water nozzles on it that it must go through a few gallons of that in the 20 seconds it's going down the track. A lot of RPM and a Crower slipper clutch is the only way those turbos will spool on that engine.......now that's a HP junkie. I didn't think a Duramax could produce that much power.......tells ya I don't pay attention to the diesel pick-up trucks. WOW!!!!!!!!!
