I know there's alot of hype out there about good trucking companies and bad, but my experience with Swift so far has been great! I haven't even made it to orientation yet and I met a guy who drove for Swift for quite a while and I text him all day long with a ton of questions and he's been patient and very helpful. He even prayed with me over the phone! He really liked Swift and would still be there if it weren't for personal reasons in his private life. I appreciate anyone who encourages me and talks positive.

if you are even 20% happy with any company, swift or otherwise, do not waste your energies on critics .......

seriously, that is how the million-mile people get there

Just remember, not everyone can make it with certain companies.
They give up or expect too much or don't get their way.

Truck driving is hard,no matter how you look at it.

Have a positive attitude and you will make it anywhere.

If it doesn't work out, move on and remember what you have learned.

I'm not going thru Swifts training, i went to a different school. I'm coming to Swift as a student driver. Their trucks are nice and honestly, I wouldn't know a good company from a bad one. But, the man I have been communicating with use to be a trainer at Swift and i know why he left, he has every reason to be bitter, if he wanted to, but he chooses not to go down that road. His time with them was great, he really liked it, some things took place in his personal life that caused him to have to leave. He's still driving, but with another company, but talks positive about Swift and encourages me to do my best and look at it as a job. Those who complain, he feels are just belly aching and have an axe to grind. Life is too short man, smile thank God you have a job and be man and take the good with the bad.I give God all the glory anyway, he knows right where I am!
