FedEx Custom Critical

Tell us more please. I always figured they were own/op only...

 

They are owner op only. I believe he is referring to driving for an owner. We are owners at FedEx Custom Critical.

 

OK I will bite, how do you get into it? That is the half straight trucks, correct?

 

They have cargo vans, straight trucks, and tractors. I don't think I would run out and buy a truck to go there. With a truck payment, you would go belly up in a hurry. There is A LOT of sitting!!! And the administration is about the rudest people you'll ever deal with. We have been in with them for 2 years and are currently looking for another company. Good luck to you!

 

Fed Ex CC was great...before Panther started underbidding them...we left in 2009...after the better part of 5 yrs....we drove for someone..GREAT FOLKS...we were T VAL..White Glove...and on the CDC Team...and still sat...wayyyy too much....for it to be profitable for us...one of our last months there only cleared a lil over $3,000 to US FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH.....

 

White Glove are great folks! But regular dispatch is TERRIBLE! And yep u still sit. We wanted to get on with a company and stay. However, we have given them 2 years and it just gets worse. Being a semi on % they want us to run for .90-$1.40 a mile, including fsc. Just isn't profitable for us. So now here we sit researching other companies

 

T VAL and White Glove dispatch are great folks...i agree...
