Heck many can't even solder Back in my Sperry lab days we had to pass NASA solder school to work on microwave boards in the lab .....
Even with my eyes destroyed by the diabetes from what I've seen I can still do better than many .... and you wonder why so many radios just don't work ...

when my dad was my age (well maybe a few year older) he was telling me the same thing... He was a electronics teacher at EI here in PA... sadly he lost his battle with diabetes at the age of 52. -
Sorry to hear that My 1st cousin died at 61 from diabetes my brother and sister and several cousins have it too ...

I have this same radio. Mine is a base unit tho. GW10A. I need to know the crystals that go in the switched side of this radio. Mine is missing the transmit xtals. can anyone tell me the xtal numbers. the 12 v unit is exactly the same only 12 v insted of 110v. Thanks billy

First CB I ran in a truck was older than me....hand-me-down from my grandpa, who pulled it out of his truck when they came out with the 40 channel radio.
Ran it until someone decided they needed it more than I did....I friggin' HATE thieves.
