If you survive hitting it... That thing had to be at least 2000 pounds easy. It was a big ol boy.

It's hard to say. The real question, is what kind of shape is your DAC report? Have you PO'd any previous empoyers? Did you leave on good or bad terms? Your DAC report will be the "tell all" in your situation.
Do you have an attitude problem? Be honest now. If you're not sure, you may want to think twice before going anywhere else. -
and where is the state you live in?? a helpful answer to sum that are thinking possibly Prime.. thank you sorry that ??? was meant for bsue.....

i worked for prime back in 01-03, and got to meet the owner on several occasions...does he still go down to the basketball court and play a game with some of the drivers and dispatchers??? i know he used to do it everyday and always had an open door policy... i do remeber when they bought out rtc to put company trucks on the boards. i enjoyed workin for them but i am not able to go back to driving otr until i go to a refresher course...

Will be going to Prime for training in mid-July. I have done the research and spoke with a recuiter. The website says that you will be there "4 days, obtain permit, drive 3-4 weeks with an instructor, return to take skills test and obtain class a cdl, then team with a trainer for 4 to 6 months." When I spoke with the recuiter she said I must have my permit when I go and the training lasts 9 weeks. Why is it that I feel the company doesnt know what is on their website and/or they have changed how they do things. Are they so desperate for drivers that they are willing to cut the training length short of what is advertised just to get them driving as soon as possible? Is there a reason for this?

I will be headed to prime on May 6, and have spoke with recuiter "Sheryl" repeated almost word for word what the site said 4 days at site , then out with a instructor for 10,000 miles return to site take test for cdl a then after passing back out with instructor for 30,000 miles. the only thing different than what I have heard and read on here she told me to wait on getting my permit untill i get there I am not sure why it may have to do with I am in texas and when you get a new drivers lie you only get a paper showing that you have pass your picture i d card will come in the mail any where from 2 weeks to 6 weeks also I am haveing to wait on my brith cert. hell I am not sure why I am 48 years old and had a drivers lies. at least 34 years but who am i to ask why I am just hopeing it will be here by friday may 5 if not i will have to push it another week
