Wow Do most companies look back that far?

 

Try this. The next application you do, when you are asked if you ever had your license suspended or revoked, just say, yes, and put the date of the closest one, do not say anything about the others. They will not come up on any MVR

 

Not telling a lie neither the truth. Hahaa

 

You was probably over qualified for US Xpress.

I have two D.U.I's in the 90's. My app was excepted by two companies. One initially turned me down, but I submitted my app anyway and the next thing I know, they called and offered me a job. They said they ran an MVR and it came back clean! I got curious and called DMV and they said it was clean cause it only goes back 10 years. The only way it will come up is if someone does a life-time back ground. I got hired and even told them about the two D.U.I's on my app. They hired me cause they didn't come up. DMV said, just put the one on your apps from now on and if they do a ten year, you'll be fine.If they do a life-time, oh well.

 

also, I should say, I wasn't quite accurate, BOTH companies I applied for excepted me. The one turned me down cause I discussed it with the recruiter and told him about the D.U.I's He said I would be turned down, but when I submitted the app anyway, it came back clean.He went off of that and that's why I got hired. Out of curiosity I called the other company and asked them what came back on my MVR and they said, "nothing." When I asked how they knew bout the D.U.I's the recruiter said,"you put them on your app, but nothing came back." You won't be lieing by admitting to one of them, just don't volunteer any more info
