Was told by recruiter that they offer refresher course (40 hr ) one on one at Carlisle,PA. Don't know if it is actually SNI or outside resource that does it. If they use SNI trucks or not. Any one have any information on this course or went through program ?
Thanks for any info or reply.

Well, I'm pretty sure that if you go with Schneider (I know it says that you aren't guaranteed employment, but seriously, if you know what you are doing they'll give you a job) they almost certainly would reimburse you for those fees over your employment term. I imagine it would be the same arrangement that I have, $150/month until the total amount is repaid (or if you leave prior to that you'll get $150/month back until you leave).

well its up to 3500 which would cover this course IF they allowed the reimbursement for it.

Cant believe they are hurting for drivers that bad , when its difficult to get loads?

OP , good luck. You could do worse.

I'm not paying anyone 2500 dollars so as I can work for them. I'm not loaning them 2500 dollars either.

The last time I checked just about everyone is looking for drivers, it won't be hard to find a place if you have a cdl.

    2500 for a refresher course?

I'd pass..sign with them and drive there for awhile(or somewhere else).

You have your cdl, you're ahead of any student.

I know it is far away from you but I did a refresher course at Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, KS and it was $600.00

Yeah, for a 40 hr refresher course, that's a pretty ridiculous price. Maybe they serve you prime rib on a silver platter for dinner.
