That's everywhere! I studied Photography @ the Art Institute in Durham and there were folks in there who claimed they knew it all. My question then was, "Then why are you paying $85k to get a bachelors degree in Photography when you should be out there making $100k/year?" [Blank stare] My point exactly! LOL

Now,when you choose a company to work for be sure to do the research as well. I suggest HOWARD!!!! If not Howard,Mcelroy,or TMC . HOWARD is probably gonna be your best choice. They are great people to work for! The best! I have a Local driving job now due to the strain it put on my marriage. But Howard does do their best to get you home every weekend! If I have to go back out OTR I will see if HOWARD would have me back first! A recruiter will come to your class. Her name is Dorothy, and she is the greatest!! I think the world of her. GOOD LUCK!

I start TDTS on Oct 22. Looking forward to it. Any advice, other than keep your mouth shut and your ears open?

Hi, I'm thinking about taking my CDL training at this school probably within the next year. My older brother went to JCC about 20 years ago (It was $270 back then lol) and has been driving ever since. I believe this is something that I want to get into, because at almost 26 years old, I have nothing else going for me career wise. I like to drive and travel, and I have an almost stellar driving record so what the heck.

Mr. Sherman is still there alive and kicking! If he was awsome back then I'm telling you he is awsomer today also Mr Tony, Donny, Van, John and Tony Hardy. I graduate Oct 20th and hoping to get a job with either McElroy or TMC. For five years then apply for heavy haul, Hopefully. It is a tough school but it will pay off in the end knowing all you hard work and studying with the best school in the country and more than likely the world landed you a job you have long dreamed of! It's great to be at such a place where tough love goes a long way to watch students strive for a better future.
