I don't even know why you cranked that truck up? If a company can't take care of their equipement any better than that, they aren't going to take care of their people either! BTW, I know its the oil field, but the vocabulary doesn't have to be!

Also a friend of mine had the same problem of an air leak....I told him to shut her down....pushers told him keep up....end of the day and long story short, I was helping him put out his breaks and tire on fire from breaks locking up....fire extinguishers were used up and it still caught fire...so we used our drinking water.....lol

We laughed about that later, but I tell you, imagine that loaded and barreling down you or your family!!

Some say quit whining, until there's an accident and you or your family gets hurt by this kind of in action.....end of the day my conscience and driving record will be clear and no body will get killed on my watch...

Lima... You said in an earlier post that due to the drought, things had slowed down a little bit. How are they now? Is Stallion still hiring? I'm new to this board and looking for some insight. So far, you have given some of the best updates I've seen. I live in MO, but am a 6th generation Native TEXAN looking to get back home. BTW, Happy belated San Jacinto Day!

yep Stallion is hiring. for work in Oklahoma and Kansas. $21.00 an hour. im lovin it. 940-627-1755.

"Lima... did you stay in FW or did you make the move to Decatur? I was thinking if I relocate back down there, Weatherford or Justin might be a better bet if i find something there in Decatur area. What's your thoughts on the housing situation and the commute?"

yeah i still live in ftw. drive to Decatur. takes me 45 mins. but now im going to Enid for 5 days, and coming home for 3. so far its been great. easy job. pays great. company pays for food, motel (until the skid house is in place), furnishes wheels for the ride up, and pays you to go up. not a bad gig at all.

Odessa and nearby cities have lots of work right now but no housing. Sounds like North Dakota.
