They are doing both. I don't see much work on the town streets , all though they look like crap. Most of the work is out on lease roads going to and from the oil pumps , tanks.

HAHA. Oops. Yep we all haul 5500 bbls!
No problem on the advise. The best steaks in town are at the Missouri Club at the Eagle Ridge golf course. (north of town, north of Spring Lake Park) I'd hit that place up while in town if I were you. Top notch! -
That place is still open....has to be same place Mom and I went after shopping in Williston....best steaks. This was early 70's, can it be same place? It was called Missouri Club? Cripes more things change......more you understand, they remain the exact same
which is a good thing

Yep still open. New owner but even better steaks now.NDBADLANDS Thanks this.

I'm looking for work around Devils Lake. Preferably with a rotating schedule. I live out of state and will need some type of housing also. I have a CDL A with tanker and have hauled flatbed and bulk trailers. I have 6 years experience. If anyone has information about jobs in this area I would really appreciate your help. Thank you!
-
what are you finding out so far? do places seem interested to hire or not so much? .. i am in miami thinking to go jobhunting somewhere,(probably texas) thanks
-
I haven't found anything in Devils Lake yet but am looking. I'm leaving Grand Forks today and will be back in a couple of weeks. I need to find a job soon. The Williston area normally has jobs available.
-
I would think the devils lake area would have more work for side and belly dumps than tanks n flatbeds.
-
I thought with my experience a company might be willing to train me on belly or side dumps. They don't appear to be hard to operate.
