Well, OOIDA Insurance gave me a decent rate for an insurance package so all I need to do now is crap or get off the pot. In other words, get my authority, insurance and a trailer and really get this O/O thing rollin'.

If you have a Great West agent around you might check with them. I know when I was independent nobody else could touch them.

I got my quote through OOIDA...100k Cargo, 1 Mil liability, towing, breakdown and all the other add ons for $770 a month.

Hey congratulations. One thing you might keep in mind is don't over insure. Remember that the insurance company will only pay the actual value of the truck and trailer, if you have one. Getting your authority and everything will take another couple of weeks. Good luck and let us know how it's going!

Thanks, as far as over insuring, the value of my truck is more than what I owe so I am ahead of the game there. Kinda wish there was a Kelley Blue Book for Trucks. I am just going off of what I was told by the carrier I am leased on with.

Good luck to ya Gaz!!!

This service will cost you $4, or it did when I used them.

Yea definitly go with great west if you can. My dad dropped almost 4k off his policy with going to great west. His payment is around 550 +/- a few per month. On paper the policy is top rate but havent had to file a claim luckily, knock on wood.
