    You only need strobes if you are going to run oversize at night. My guys run through there alot with no strobes.

    That is true....

    It's so much easier to have the strobes....No sense in stopping just because the Sun went down.....:biggrin_25525:

    You just gotta know what you are doing and looking for and you wont tarp much if at all hauling a 48 flat.

    And that is the main reason why I run CO....NAFTA drivers don't know what chains are for other than towing their rigs out of the mud.......:biggrin_25523:

    That is probably my biggest weakness is doing all of this.

    In 17 years, alot of the people I did know have moved on. So I am weakest in my networking.

    Know that though, it comes back quickly.

    I seen a mexi truck with them handing from the ceiling. He looked pretty hard core. No dingly balls for him.

    Hooking the straps over the rub rail is the only way to attach them on the trailers we have. Been inspected by DOT and they said nothing. The load I posted was my very first solo pickup, and the first pipe load Id ever done. It was pyramid stacked. Each piece was 42' long, forget how many I had. The chains wrapped around the entire load with the binders on the top. Asked a couple other drivers for advice on that one. Havent hauled any from that place since...
