    what the heck man. my brand new cobra lx with dual wilson 2000's wont put out or receive any more than a mile. pisses me off something fierce.

    they are the exact same and to my knowledge they are mounted properly. not sure of the whole grounded properly thing. i dont know if you can see them in the pic, but they are mounted as high up on the mirrors and as far apart from each other as possible.
