I believe you are speaking of BMA "Spectrum" which shows to be based in Birmingham but their office is in Owensborro, KY (at least when you call them it is an Owensborro phone number)

They have good steel loads, but also run their own brokerage firm outside of Landstar.

Yes, they dispatch themselves. The ultimate "no forced dispatch".

Sounds like this would not be your thing.

We pay 87% of gross. Paid weekly (completed Friday, direct deposit next Friday). Fuel card with discounts (this is changing for the better in next couple weeks). We have not had a need to provide cash advances off fuel card but able to advance for repairs, maintenance, etc. Drivers make enough that they don't worry about living week to week.

Shoot me an email and I can send a couple page write-up on how we work and details of what we offer.

Are you guys breaking out a FSC into the rates. Or is it flat 87% straight across?

It depends. We pay 100% FSC on contract and don't break it out on spot market. Much of spot market doesn't do this and we have a couple strategies to make this work to the carriers advantage. But 100% of detention or other fees regardless.

We do not mark-up or "skim" anything. All fuel discounts are passed through. We don't add "admin" fees on anything. If it costs $1 then we charge back $1.

We are focused on providing 300% of value for the percent we take. We are at about 200% right now.

    Kansas Thanks this.

Don't think you can PM yet buy my email address is in my signature and I can send you some information. Several of my drivers are on the forum that you can hunt down and I will send a message out with your contact information to my drivers and let them contact you so you can ask questions.

If you are thinking LS then I think you will like what we are offering.

    bluejay Thanks this.
