Does anyone have a phone number or website for Dolphin Line? I live in the Pensacola area at the moment and may be moving more towards southern florida or jacksonville very soon. Can someone please recommend some companies that are based out of these areas with decent pay, great hometime, and decent miles.

Check out Davis Express out of Starke,Fl. they are a reefer outfit and they only run 5 states, but you are home every weekend. I was going to work there when I lived in Fort Walton Beach but we moved to Tennessee because trucking jobs suck in the panhandle.

Davis is not home every weekend, it's a 7 on 2 off schedule as described to me when I talked to them. They are southeast only, if you go to their site it pretty well describes what you can expect. A lot of night driving, e-logs, and Publix freight.

Don't pin me as a know it all because I'm far from that, but if you say weekends home people will expect to be home late Friday, early Saturday and back out late Sunday early Monday and with Davis this is not the case.

I'm going through dolphin lines orientation and they seem to be a pretty descent outfit although I wasn't too thrilled when I learned that they hold back 2 weeks pay but oh well, they have fairly new trucks with the oldest being 09 international prostars but they are having a lot of issues with the maxxforce engines so I don't think they will be getting anymore of them. I will update on my progress and satisfaction with them. I like the fact that they primarily run the southeast and home time is pretty much every weekend.

Rebel, correct me if I'm wrong , but, when I talked to them they told me that they do not have prepass and if you go up north and hit a toll road you have to pay for it and they reimburse you because they don't have ezpass either. May have changed that by now, but, that was within the last year.

Yeah that's correct if you want prepass you have to pay for it yourself and after being in orientation I found out that they hold 2 weeks back on you'd first check and they also take out a kinda escrow of 25 per week up to 300. They spring these things on you after they get you in there.
