You are very correct... To a point.. We are giving our general opinion.. Would I work for GD/Falcon again? Is hell expected to freeze over anytime soon? All we, or at least myself, are trying to do is give any single person the idea of what to and not to expect. It will be diferent for every driver because we all have diferent needs in our lives.
Our (the drivers as a comunity) biggest problem is that most will lay down, get walked on, and ask for more. I wont lower myself to that. I have a family that I want to know. I plan to have kids, and i want to be there to see them being born, take their first steps, take them to school dances, and graduate high school. Most trucking companys dont give a rats ### if you have a family or not. And when you make them care is usually when you start standing in line at the un-employment office.
What I ask is for every driver to open their eyes, realize want is important in their life, and then ask them selves about the sacrifices they are willing to make to get there. Once you have those ironed out, you can start working for companys and see if they are willing to suit YOUR needs. Just dont back down on whats important to you, because that is what companys expect you to do.

I got a freind that works for TMC.. He calls them.. The Moving Clowns. The commpany is a joke. He only took it because it kept him close to home for his bed ridden pregnant wife.

I worked for TMC for 17 years. Most of the stuff you hear about them is complete baloney. If someone got fired for walking on the grass, it was because they had been warned a number of times, or got pissy with the person who asked them to stay off it. That company sends big bucks making the terminal area look nice, as opposed to many of these dirt lot crappy companies, and they dont let anyone mess it up. There is no excuse for walking on the grass....1. you are warned up front 2. there are numerous signs and 3. there isnt any need to anyway. there are perfectly good sidewalks going anywhere you need to go at that terminal.
DOTrevenuepatrol Thanks this. -
All I can say is... If you say so... They may be a great company to you. Its what we call being a fan boy...
We are getting WAY off topic of this thread. This one is about the sorry excuse of a company named Falcon Transport, DBA GD Leasing..
So I am going to leave it at that..
And before you call me a fan boy of my company... Very far from the truth. I hate many aspects about them. They offer me what I need to support my family, and be part of my familys life, more than once a month (which is far better than many of the bottom feeding companys). And with that, I will leave it at that.. -

Apparently Falcon closed down or moved out of it's West Middlesex, PA terminal. I always thought WSEX was its "main" terminal, even though HQ was right across the Ohio line.
A while back I tried to re-hire with them and was declined! Kind of funny cuz i have no tix, accidents, or anything else that would DQ from any other trucking company.
Quit me once shame on you, quit me twice shame on me!
