COOL! My manager sure gave me an excellent recommendation. Supposed to go in tomorrow to start all the formalities (paperwork, drugscreen, so forth). What a great Birthday present, eh?![]()
Looks like I'm in!

Yeah. I like it there. It just takes WAY too long to go full time. Heard it's the same way @ UPS.
-
its a 7 year wait jut to become a driver at the UPS terminal by me, 22 year wait for a trailer driver
-

Jeez. They were begging for 2 drivers in my neck of the woods about 4 months ago.
But then again. I literally mean "woods". -
Well, they'll hire temporary (seasonal) drivers, but, after the temporary need is done, so are you. I had a brother-in-law who did some seasonal work for them. Once they(UPS) were done with him, he asked about getting a full time permanent job; they said, "Well Steve, you'll have to apply at one of our stations for a package handling job". Yeah, uh huh, sure.
Now, if I was much younger, I might have thought about it where I'm at(FedEx Express), but, at my age?.......Hello YRC.
