Just bought myself a CSA driver handbook from J.J Keller and just browsing through it, I've learned alot of stuff. I'd highly recommend getting one.

It costs like 3.50..shipping costs more than the book itself, but I highly suggest it. Especially for the noob sauces out there who have no clue but want to drive a truck.

Alot of information in one place instead of dancing around the FMCSA website.

Why in blue blazes would you go to any source but the agency actually running the program?

    http://csa.fmcsa.dot.gov/default.aspx

Put the $4 in your pocket and avoid outdated and erroneous information.

Now Tazz...surely by now you understand that the coffee counter driver/lawyer/expert has more knowledge of any subject than the agency writing the rules!!!!!:biggrin_2559:

I figured it never hurts to gather info from different places? As long as they're credible, I suppose..

You're definitely correct....the "interpretation" of any law/reg/rule will be different no matter which truck stop coffee counter you are sitting!

Same as the different "interpretation" from any scale varies at a different scale!:biggrin_25525:

J.J Keller is a reputable source in my opinion. And will you always have a computer handy. Its a small enough booklet to be taken anywhere. I think its a good buy. Just saying.

How much is a meal at a fast food joint? $7 bucks? So its already worth it in my opinion.

Why "buy" it when you can download it from the link provided by Tazz?!

I guess I should dust off my CSA handbook and read it.
