Those are horrible scores. We get put OOS but not companies. How long does it take before FMCSA wakes up.My last company was unconditional everything was BAD.I looked them up not too long ago now its conditional.I imagine they worked long and hard to get the books and paperwork in order. These DOT audits are nothing but a joke.First off they get like a 2 weeks notice when the DOT will be there and they don't check the equipment just the paperwork.Never get put OOS but truckers sure do.

If the OP was a recruiter, he ought to be ashamed of himself. If the OP was a driver he needs to find another carrier, with scores like that he'll be spending a lot of time behind the scale house with a red sticker in the windshield..

I personally never got put OOS but because of the poor safety rating at that time,I did get pulled around back alot of times mainly to check logs and paper work. One of many things the innocent truckers have to deal with when driving for an unsafe illegal company.

Johnboy- Just as a question regarding yours about hiring qualifications: How do you accumulate 3 million miles of driving at only 31 years of age? That's 200K/year since you were 16 by my calcs. So my answer would be I would not hire you at any rate. For a new guy here, I am quickly very oppositional, but only in a friendly way.:biggrin_2556:

I want to say it comes from experience, but what it really comes down to is research. It's amazing what you can find online with a little research.

With more and more weigh stations being online when you approach a scale your fate will be sealed long before you get on the scale. The best thing they ever came out with was Pre-Pass. If the company you drive for has a good safety rating you'll be greenlighted more times than not. I just did a turn out to California and back and was on a total of 1 scale the whole trip. And not one in California. The best $16 a month I spend.

That company could'nt get prepass at that time besides the owner was too cheap,he'd never in a million yrs get it.I've only been to Calif a few times.
