Lol no but please fill in the blanks cause I'm sure this is gonna be good.

Meguiars makes a product called #2.
It is available at body paint suppliers.
I had this happen with overspray from a neighbor spraying his wrought iron fencing beige
and it landed on my black hood and roof.
If thats what your dealing with...that's what worked for me w/o ruining the paint under it.
#2 is a polish with mild abrasives...takes some time and I did it by hand so I didnt ruin anything. -
I'll pass the meguirs on. Don't know if that'll help. We'll see.
As for filling in the blanks. Dummy thought it would be a good idea to sling the Farmbys wood sealer off the brush while he was standing beside his truck.
I'm sure there was a case of beer involved, somewhere.Kujo Thanks this. -
Try lacquer thinner on a rag. If that doesn't work, then try acetone or xylene. Be careful with those, make sure they don't take the clearcoat with them.
-
Words of advice here.......
Be careful...
-
I dunno. It's a good friend. And somehow I can see him stripping it to bare metal using any of those LOL
-
Yeah, those are best used without alcohol
The lacquer thinner is the safest of them all, used that when I cleaned carpets to get ink and magic marker out of carpets.
Try to get it ASAP, before the sealer 'cures'. Usually within 24 hours. -
Is it clear wood sealer, or stained wood sealer? If clear, I would just wet sand the raised edges till they blend, then some rubbing compound, polish, and wax.
Stained, wet sand with a piece of sand paper on a popsicle stick. just hitting the stained areas, when the stain is gone then follow the above.
