I bought 2 40lb bags of salt and they pay for it. I'm up in NY state with a lot of ice and a lot of the customers don't treat there docks like they do up front for the customers.

Normally, I can just throw my chains on the ground in front of the locked drives, and get myself out. But occassionally (not this year thankfully) I've had to go further and put cat litter down.. or in some cases, I'd put the litter down BEFORE I parked.. so I knew I could get out in the morning without a hassle. -
hup Thanks this.

last time i was there i couldnt get out even after i had all my chains on. had to spend the night and get pulled out in the morning. way behind on my load, would have got there 5 minutes before my appt. but the rr crossing right around they corner from the receiver broke and i had to wait for monday haha.
best bet is to go to the shop and get pulled out. in helena they usually have their yard truck chained all winter., i would ask nicely if they can get the trailer out if it looks like trouble. i have done it at customers as well, the ones that have a yard truck anyway. just ask nicely and its not usually a problem.
