I'm going to be getting my CDL soon and am talking to a Roehl recruiter over the phone. I have allready been prehired just waiting on the background stuff and final hire info. I asked to do flatbed for my area ( I'm from New York) I know I will need the metal coil endorcement and I don't have a problem with that. I just wanted to hear any suggestions on what to ask and general ideas what I'm getting into. Thanks in advance :biggrin_25514:

Roehl's a decent company to start out with.....we do everything legally.....there is no room for being outlaw here.... I am not big on the skateboards but I know quite a few here that are..I pull vans and reefers....btw a good thread for ya is http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/roehl/110957-roehl-bound-june-14th-relief-excitement.html

it was started by Hindsy...he is still on here and was looking to come back but ran into some other issues...he pulled flats for quite some time with us...he documents everything from day one at Roehls school...

Get your coil endorsement, you'll need it before you can come out to orientation. I'm about an hour south of you, I get good runs out of the house, and all the miles I want. Roehl is a good place to start, and stay if you fit in well and have a good dispatcher.

It's a New York Coil endorsement, but you only need it if you are licensed in NY and haul coil in NY, Alabama coil everyone needs to pick up or deliver coil in 'bama I think
