No. We don't even run out there. I wish we did though because with home prices out there right now I would buy one in a heartbeat and move there myself.

 

As to the "health insurance" I was quoted.

Family Medical, dental and vision. I am court ordered to provide that along with child support.
Term Life $400,000, Long and short term disability for me.

Does your $750 cover all that?

 

I don't know because I don't need all that. I have never heard of a divorce requiring you to have life insurance. I know mine sure didn't she had two choices either one amount and she provided health insurance or a lower amount and I provided it. She chose the higher amount to her each week.

 

I carry the life insurance on myself to provide for my daughters should something happen to me.

The long and short term disability as well because when self-employed, how or who is going to cover for you while you are out of work.

Neither of those are court order.

Just the Family Medical, dental and vision.

 

My husband was divorced in FL and they ORDERED him to carry life ins making HER the bennie until the kid turned 18.
