Experienced OTR driver needed in North East region

there are trucks and there are trucks you want interested drivers tell us what your equipment is what you will be hauling pay scale benefits. you told us nothing so you get nothing

 

He already said W2, 24-28% of line haul to the driver. Equipment doesn't matter so much to me as long as it's safe and DOT ready.

Yes, he's a bit sparse on information but he has a business to run. He'll explain the details over the phone if you're really interested.

 

You are being "bashed" because you posted an ad without giving many particulars other than what YOU were looking for. Most folks want to know the compensation, kind of truck (late model, condo, etc), typical freight lanes, hometime, benefits, and so forth. Some of these things you, as well as many other employers, could easily put in the description.

The hometime one particularly bothers me. Why put "hometime to discuss"? Be up front about what you have to offer. Is the driver away from home one week? Three weeks? Or is it a month or more? When you are vague in your job description, people are naturally going to think you've got something to hide or that you're not reputable.
