Trucker mows down U-TURN

    I would question that thought. Apparently, the guard had left at the end of his shift at 11:00 pm. They now have a guard 24 hours a day. This makes me wonder if there is not proper signage at that location. Otherwise, why have a guard there who left at the end of their shift.

    As far as being in strange areas, whether Canadian or not, signs can be confusing. I travel alot in Canada and their signs are different than ours.

    Most truckers have ended up somewhere they shouldn't be sometime in their career. We are not perfect and should not think we are better than someone who happens to be from another country.

    Good point...I've driven in and out of mexico plenty of times and it always takes me a little while to readjust my thinking. "Okay we're in Kilometers per hour now, not MPH. Okay speed limit signs are round now, not square etc." It could have been that the driver was simply not used to the signs and whatnot that we use around here. Of course if you're doubting wether or not you can make a turn/curve....you probably shouldn't go for it anyway.
