Stevens has become the repower central of trucking.
Seems that's all they do anymore, unless you need one.
I think load planning has lost their marbles. Seems that's where the trouble is beginning.
Then the DMs are left to fix what should have been done right the first time.
And heaven help us is the weekend/night crew is involved!

DUJO, Corporal_Clegg and TLeaHeart Thank this.

I think my truck is sick.
Going thru more than a gallon of coolant per week now...two so far this week.
    No puddles, no wet clamps....
I'm afraid it may be a head gasket or transmission cooler..or CAC.
Going thru more oil lately too.

Wonder if I can just lay hands on it and 'heal' it?

coming up the hill on 70, just inside West Virginia, and the oil pressure dropped below 20, sent off enough bells and whistles to annoint a nuclear launch.
    Then the truck shut down.
After a minute it restarted, and acts just fine.
Got to the TA....plenty of oil...

    Poor thing....maybe it's just a virus....:biggrin_2556:

Same exact thing happened with my truck... it is your egr cooler, bolted to the passenger side of the cummins...

Under Load pulling a grade, and the heat expands the "pipes" and your coolant enters the engine, and is burned off, dropping your oil pressure. As explained by cummins tech.

I nursed it for a week, before it derated the engine, and I limped it from the top of the grade at breezewood PA to Carlisle PA at 45 mph.

And maybe when you're finished playing games, you will learn how to run a truck and actually complete a lease.... And maybe not leave your current employer holding your bag a debt and misfortune. There's nothing funning about screwing with people. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Not at all. I just don't find it entertaining to mess with people just trying to do a job. If you guys want to play, find someone that likes board games and make a day of it.
