Yeah, I picked up from them and took it to Newton, NC. They load u fast but they loads are heavy.

 

But when u talk about heavy loads. Them heavy ##### paper roll loads coming out of Smurrfitt in Fernanind Bch, FL ain't no joke.

 

Them cardboard loads coming out of Publix in Boyton Beach be 43-44,000 pds too..

 

I pulled two loads out of Smurfitt in Fernaninda Bch both going up to Atl...Both loads were at 45,000. My freightliner don't have no pulling power going up and down hills carrying heavy loads..They really need to bump up our speed in them trucks especially carrying heavy loads cuz u need speed to climb up and at 62 my truck drops down to like 35 easy...Flashers are on...lol

 

Dude that whole receiving system sucks at RockTenn. U gotta sit there and stare at a clock and wait for your number to come up. I got stuck there with 15 trucks in front of me with 2hrs left on my clock..Clock went to zero i had to do a safe haven run to the lil Kangaroo truck stop up the street..

 

At Rocktenn, if a train arrives, you can expect a long wait.

I del and preplanned canceled. Got a new load that picked up in Columbia. It goes to Davenport. I was dispatched late so it will deliver late. Was told by night dispatch that I need to del on time or will sit all day at customer. I told them DM sent load late so no way to del and I shouldn't be punished for their mistake. They changed appt for 0800. I'll be out of hrs at del so not planned, yet.
