Actually they are based out of Memphis TN but FedExCC is in Ohio. I am looking into starting with them in the next couple weeks myself.

I take home that much with full benefits pulling tanker less than 60 hours a week . You'll be an I/C getting a 1099 and no benefits .
The reason they don't have another driver ready to run with you is the pay is on the low side for expedite .

Drivers for fleet owners are mostly I/C's. They work on percentage so they should have a contract . By law anyone paid percentage on contract can demand to see a copy of shipper billing .

I don't doubt you, but what law? I want to be able to reference it.

Its twice what I make now man. I quit my 12 an hour driving job to chase the dream of driving like my father and his dad did. I just got my class A threw crst and not ready for the big trucks onless I can find someone looking to help out.(tells you alot from CRST:biggrin_25510::biggrin_25510:) I never did the training. I'm going to pay the 2000 bucks and be done with them thank god. on the other hand I'm very good in a straight truck. Been doing it around DC,MD,VA,DE for the last 7 years
flawlessly pluss a winter in northern New Hampshire. If I clear 600 to 700 it would be alot better than CRST and alot of drivers out there really. (from what I read) I work for a temp/part time gig driving 10 speed steak body

I would stay away from Expedited Services everyone I spoke to who drove for them quit and nothing good to say about them.As far what I heard is they do a 65/35 contract which is isn't worth driving for plus what I heard is they always screw up driver's pay etc.

My paperwork said and was told from the company 40%. I wouldn't lease! Panther said they would hire me if I get a team. They said they would hire me without any ovr experience
