I am a driver in the US and grew up in a truck as well. Over the past year I have been noticing somethings from paying more attention to it.
I have to say in all honesty, Canadian O/O's trucks are clean and good looking. Even many company trucks I see down here are nice. I see American trucks everyday that are piles of shat. Dirty worn out turds (there are some nice ones but most are not). But most every Canadian truck I seen lately is just in good shape, clean and generally nice.
If nothing else, thanks for having decent equipment.

Thanks for the nice comment! One company that i drove for in canada that was US based made sure there equipment was nice. Even washed them every weekend for us.

We don't have it all that good up here but at least we are not suffering from the economics in your country.
Good Luck.
I/we feel for you. -
There are shatty looking trucks in Canada as well same as in the USA. You just do not see them running long distances.
-
Maybe most of them break down before they make it to the states? lol

No just like in the states local / regional trucks that have seen better days.
Yet in CANADA you do see a lot of nice well cared CONTAINER / INTERMODAL equipment. -
Two companies in my area that run into Texas run sweet looking trucks, always clean and lots of chrome.
Tricorp Transportation and Wiebe Transport.
