Thanks will do but kinda hard to tell if it is actually working or not because it's 40 or 50 degrees out so the air with or without the AC running is really cold. The mechanic here seems alot more intelligent than the ones at the Gary terminal. He is about 100% sure he fixed the AC by replacing the Dryer (whatever that is lol). He said that anytime a part is replaced in the Air Conditioning the Dryer needs to also be replaced. He said what was happening was I would run the AC and with the Dryer not have been replaced (Thank You Gary Mechanics!) it would freeze up and not run again till it thawed out, which most of the time wouldn't be till the next day.
Ontop of that he found the air leak that I have had for months now. Tried to get that fixed at Gary last time but they said that there is no leak...I know that wasn't right because it was leaking like a international (I got a Frieghtliner btw). The Air tank fittings were leaking and he replaced them. Will be letting my FM know how happy I am with this terminal. I hope I can get all my work done here from now one (doubt I can get that lucky though)
Best part of the entire thing was that unlike at gary where last time I litterally had to wait a FULL day to get the truck in the shop, I got here at 1300 put my work request in and talked to the maintanence guy and he said it'll be a couple hours. I was stunned thinking NOW THAT'S SERVICE! All said and done they got the truck in at 1500 and got the work complete by 1900. -
Appleton is a great shop. Those guys now their stuff, and they are pleasant to deal with. BTW being a 30 year HVAC guy I can tell you what the mechanic told you about the dryer is correct, I have never actually gotten anything fixed at Gary, they keep my truck for 12 to 14 hours and put new parts in, get grease all over everything, and it is still broke when I got it back each time. Luckily my FM doesn't send me to Gary for repairs, he knows the deal.

At the dropyard in Mogadore. I told my FM since I got back a day early I will just stay here tonoght so if the driver that works out of here daily needs any help in the morning I will lend a hand. I know, I know you should just have went home. I was only gone 11 days and I am going to get 7 off. So its no big deal to me. Besides my POV is here so if I really need to go somewhere I can.

I always try to talk my FM into sending me to Appleton or Marshfield to the truck worked on. Trailers and tires is about all I will let Gary work on. Those guys are usually pretty good about getting things done.
