You probably think your doing pretty good in your lease. And maybe in your world you are. So what I eat wont make you sh..t. my goal is to inform a driver/ any driver of the pit falls of lease purchase. Your little puny 21 years of experience has obviously not yielded any value whatsoever. So continue in your blissful ignorance. If this is what makes you happy then so be it. Please Please. Whatever you do, don't hate on my wisdom son. You really don't wanna go there trust me. Do you. And enjoy YOUR lease

There is good and bad in everything in life. EVERYTHING. The notion that lease purchase agreements are exempt from this is absurd. There may indeed be some viable and legitimate lease purchases out there. I certainly am not ready to rule it out. But to my knowledge, they are far and few between. And most of them have a nefarious agenda. The goal is to line the pockets of the party leasing the truck. You pay: truck payment, fuel, security deposit, maintenance escrow, insurance, tolls, cat scale, then you have to eat and pay yourself. The company assumes none of the risk. You pay for everything. And assume all the risk. #### right they'll lease their truck to you. If there is such good money in trucking, why are they in such a hurry to lease you their truck? After You have leased the truck for 47 weeks or whatever. You now have the option to buy the truck at fair market value. Really? Good luck. And God bless. How much do you make? .85cpm. And 44 cpm fuel surcharge? Heh heh.

God help you in your lease purchase if your on e - log. You don't have to take my word for it. If your naive and gullible then that's what you are. And if that's the case, then lease purchasing in a trucking industry is the least of your problems.

That link is only for produce only not meat (to many PITAes to work with) and dry is cheap freight to me so I never brokered it!

Now tell me anything LESS than $2.00 per mile is a fair price when YOU make all the payments except for the Authorization and ICC#! If any of you ever look into the cost of those 2 items you'll see that you are getting taken to the bank! They do NOT cost that much and if you were to go try for a small busness load with the RIGHT plan you would be surprised who will work with you! And not screw you like these L/P plans.

Lease drivers are getting bent but they think the company is "doing them a favor" or actually those BFIs will tell you they are by getting them that nice truck but keeping more than half of the freight rate!

If you were an o/o you would have grossed $200,000 on the miles you drove, or more, depending on what you hauled.
    Just sayin.
    Here comes the hate.....

Well, if youre not getting at least 1.00/mi on one of these deals, you're getting used.
If that's ok with you, then ok.
Farming, fishing and trucking, if your not getting 40% net out of it, you're hurting.
