I understand contacting safety ASAP, but this guy has a temper. He's an intimidating guy. He could kick my ###! So I don't want it to get back to him while I'm on his truck that I'm going to be unseated. Not afraid of that happening, just stating his facts. Lol. So I'm in my 34 now. Pick up tomorrow at 8am, I'll be at my house by Thursday night at the latest. I will be calling then.
Arghhh!!! Seriously Central?!

You can't let him crawlinside of your head like that killer, not a good way to live, and since you are on the subject, that whole training stuff is a two way street. Just cool your jets YOUR letting your own blood reach boiling point here, I doubt he realises at all what you think he doing to you. Just take 'er easy, stuff like that will make you not want to drive you know...
-
You are right about the 2 way street. Plenty of times where I've clinched my fist wanting to punch something. Then I think about my kids, a smile comes across my face, and I calm down more. I've started to learn to shut him out and autopilot him when he's ########, specially for something I had no control over. I know it's not good, because I need to be listening, it's just hard. Nothing about this job is easy, even sleeping at a dock waiting. And lol ya, I look back after creating this thread and think "should I really have done that?" but I will admit it feels good to vent, specially to other people who drive and have been in my shoes, in training. We all had to start somewhere. But thank you.
-
Yes venting is good, but don't let the boiler room hit high gear after wards......

Fair enough. And Im not that guy to start the fight. But I'll do my damnedest to finish it. Even if he has already threatened to knock my ### out if I ruin his transmission. I just smiled. Said go ahead, but be prepared for charges, restitution, and a nice denial of unemployment benefits.
-
You are still thinkin wrong, just drop it in the lake like a phone on a fishin trip....
-
lmao, good analogy, but i don't see how its possible to wake up tomorrow and act like nothing has happened.
-
It will come with you will figure it out, or you wont be out here too long...
-
i will keep giving this job 110%, to be the bests driver I can be. to do what is within my ability to make sure my life and the lives around me are safe. To make sure the load gets to the shipper/receiver safely and reliably. that includes damage to the tractor/trailer.

Alright kimosabi tone down the perkiness a bit, sounds like a speech from jerry moyes ....
