Yeah, OK needs to get with the times on the whole inform the people about construction thing. That's one of the reasons I try to let you guys know what is going on in my neck of the woods. I get to Tulsa almost daily, so, those zones I can let you know.

I had checked the RMCA and knew the road was technically ok, but remembered U2 saying something about construction. And while I can find that there IS a construction site somewhere along the route, that's all I can find. :biggrin_25513:

My problem was the detour not listed anywhere. Have him plan an extra 30 minutes, that way he won't be surprised.

Just follow the signs, it's clearly marked.

The other option without dealing with the on-going disaster known as Tulsa is to run through southern KS on the route we use on the Springfield to Liberal/Dodge City lane, and take US75 south to Ochelata.

Yeah, he thought of that, too. One reason to go lease? Pick your route. Not the best reason, mind you.

Yesterday we were headed to the gym, SB on 75/244 when we noticed that NB was backed up for a couple of miles. No idea why...just a huge bottleneck. It's crazy nuts w/ all the construction, and they way they have it, there's really no way around it at the moment. There's an OHP officer or two sitting at the construction on 44 over the river every day.
