i've only been driving for a month since training, and it seems like my dbl is just playing with me. i've transflowed all my paperwork in, qualcommed it properly, etc, and have yet to get a single reimbursement for expenses from training, or for when i got into my truck and it was a broke down POS and they had me go to a hotel while it was in the shop - all i've gotten are the cash advance charges from the comdata checks they had me write to the hotel and cab company. which by the way, i was told flat out i would NOT get a cash advance charge for, so they need to get their story straight and not lie to people. at this point, the oldest receipts are 5 weeks old and i'm pretty sure i'm just screwed, even tho my dbl had me resubmit them on a new load with new expense codes. found out other NEW drivers who started same time i did are getting 2 to 4 cents more per mile, and thats with them having a ticket - i've not had a ticket in 8 years. was supposed to get layover pay for 3 days, havent seen that yet either. right now i'm sittin at an oc, waitin to find out if the load i'm on is goin to be relayed since its only 700 miles to drop and the drop company isnt open til monday mornin at 8. my luck i'd say screw it and go, get 100 miles down the road and i'd have to turn around and drop it here anyway.either that or they're going to delay to the point i get a reset, get going tomorrow, and i'll spend sunday night at the drop point.

It gets frustrating at times. All I can say is try to stick it out and things will/might get better.
I know there was one screwed up DBL that I've heard about at St Louis (George perhaps?). I know I've heard people complain about a certain DBL there and I think that's him. -
i have tried to go above their head..... can never get anybody on the phone, and havent received any replies to my voice mails. i did finally get the load changed to a relay, but not til late afternoon, so i put my NAT at tomorrow morning so i could get my laundry done and get some groceries. about 2 hours later, i got a new preassignment to go to VA, 600+ miles, by early tomorrow afternoon. i had less than 4 hours left of my day by then, and i had put myself as not available til tomorrow morning. qualcommed and told em i couldnt do it, no way. still on my preassignment but i havent accepted it. i understand i gotta put up with bs no matter where i work for the first year, but so far this is so far above and beyond tolerable bs i'm ready to just walk away. everyone i've talked to has told me they dont understand why i'm still working here....and to be honest, i don't really have a good answer.
