I've carried my spring assisted Kershaw into a nuke plant. I just put it in the xray bin, and grabbed it on the other side of the detector. This was in an extremely weapons unfriendly state near SHC. FL law says common pocket knife is not a weapon, but doesn't define common pocket knife![]()

I carry a K-Bar....Never had a problem yet....

Believe it or not Spring Assisted knives are not legal here in Ks. Cali. has more liberal knife laws than we do.
Mark me down as another Benchmade fan. Although my absolute favorites knives are Microtech's -
Hell....In Cali...Machetes are legal provided they are used for *ahem* "Yard Work"....

Ya, I think you can even have an auto or switch knife in Cali, but the blade can only be 1.9" long lol.

I have two pocket knives in the truck and a locking, Gerber Multitool with the springs in the needlenose pliers.
