I will keep you all updated on the happenings here at the W/S school. I am sitting here in the drivers lounge right now watching the 49ers loose and listening to the stories from the drivers. :)

Don't forget to bring some snacks. I looked up and down the street and don't see a restraunt close. Might have to order pizza for dinner tonight because I don't have any food here. There is a fridge and I'll be picking up a few things as soon as possible.

Lots of trucks sittng outside. Hope one of them is for me.

Good tip on the Stearns rain gear. I delt with them before on other products and they were certainly work the money.

Yeah, we're all here now. This should be fun! We found the food, LOL! Now, we just need to wait for boot camp to start - He he he

This group seems to be a good one so far, so it should be fun. The drivers here are pretty friendly.

See I told you Sal. We should of hurried up and got into the Oct Class.
Now Jhonny and Jeff are gonna eat up all the food and drive the last truck home. W/S probably run out of trucks and have to buy us new ones for Christmas seeing we may be the Christmas Class ending.

This will be fun for sure, Looking forward to Boot Camp

Let us know who gets KP first. I always did Pots and Pans because they left ya alone if you did that. Everybody else had to do all the other duties.

Are you guys going to chip in and cook in the kitchen together? That would be fun. Wonder if they have a BBQ to use outside

As far as I can see at 6:20 am before the first class starts, there are 7 of us here for the 30 day class and one in the 10 day. Seems like a pretty good group of guys.

We had some KP already last night. :) Had to sweep up the floor here in the drivers lounge and take out the overflowing trash. Might have blown that off but one of the woman drivers that came in, seen us all sitting around watching TV and said "Hey you new guys, one duty I need to tell you about!" No big deal though.

You can cook here in the kitchen. We didn't last night because we didn't have any food here yet. So, we ordered Pizza Hut. A few of the drivers did though. They cooked up a nice meal. Lots of pans, plates and the like here. Nothing fancy though. Sort of like a country cabin many people are sharing.

Hope that Johnny and I don't have to fight too many guys to watch Heroes tonight!

Interesting as the info they sent me says class is 8 am to 5 pm and they expect you to practice some after and on the weekend.

The drivers hanging around should be on the road after the weekend unless they don't have any work for them.

Keep up the KP and let us know what kind of cooking your doing.

Do you have your Laptop there and on the Wi Fi they provide Free?

Watch out for them women truckers, they may put demands on you and tell you it is expected.

Today we did paperwork, and learned the rules to live by in the lounge and other little stuff.

We also started learning to shift, w/ a little instruction and a lot of practice. We only had 2 trucks to practice on, so we had to swap out a bit. But we'll get more trucks to learn on in a couple of days.
You guys will love doing the down-shift thing. :biggrin_2556:

But beware, if your from out of state and have the CDL permit from your state, you'll have to re-test for the Montana permit - and the fee is $90.00

That's about it for now, I need to study the MT Drivers Handbook....again and hopefully drive a little more.

    Talk to ya soon
