I've had the chance to compare DT and Rand McNally. The DT is usually more accurate.

Personally, I don't trust any GPS. They will not make a trucker out of anyone.

That potholed dirt road with overgrown vegetation is a shortcut that will save you valuable time. :biggrin_25524:

I keep the drivertech set on the "Where Am I" setting and zoomed to a level where I can see the surrounding roads. Helps me find a way to turn around if needed.

Obviously you selected the wrong personality for the GPS to emulate. It's just not compatible with your personal temperment.

Take it off of psycho-B mode, and try the cool dude. :biggrin_25523:

Wait until it tells you to take an exit that doesn't exist to an invisible road that runs parallel with you and then tells you to take the exit from that invisible road and get back on the interstate......TRUE story.

I use my GPS more as a time keeper to help me know if I am ahead or behind schedule.

Today was a wonderful reminder of how nice it is to have a phone to call for actual directions. And hope they actually know a good route in for trucks.

The super and loading guy for today sure got me an idea. But not a good route.

They are there to remind us that we are the sane ones..... don't tell my GPS I said that - she will punish me if she overhears.
