Being watchfull and vigilant goes a long way toward prevention.
I know a driver who pulled into a Pilot to fill his coffee mug.
Instead of parking & locking his rig he parked in front of the
fuel island with the keys in the ignition and the truck idling.
He said he only planned to be inside fer 10 minutes or so.
That was all it took. When he came out his truck was gone.
This was an obvious crime of opportunity and the crook(s)
had to be watching & waiting fer just the right moment.
Of course the driver got fired and now has this on his DAC.
Stay alert and you won't get hurt!
