Mic in my experiance document everything, I even do it on the qc letting
Dispatch know the load isn't ready and when detension started.
You probably already knew all that. Good luck ! ;-)

I finally got loaded around 1230 central..once I was in the dock it was wam bam sign here...man was it a quick loading process...I would say less than 1/2 hr.... took me longer to call the broker and send in my loaded call....

I didn't make it too far I am at the bloomsburg TA off of 80 not too far from 476....going to sleep until I wake up...then boogie onto indiana...don't have to be at the cons til monday morning...but am shooting for tomorrow...if it wasn't for the delay in getting my load i could have squeezed a 34 in but no biggie...I have enough hours for now LOL..

wanted to do something other than the Van fleet....I pulled a couple of reefer trailers with non reefer loads and liked the trailers too....

so far I like the reefer fleet cause the places we go are soooo much easier to find than what I typically found in the Van fleet.....the reefer fleet also pulls non temp controlled loads too in the reefer trailers...I yanked carpet from GA and soybean seed from philly in a reefer...

we will continue to see how it goes...

I don't if its true but I've heard from other drivers so it could be false. Flatbed running reefer isn't a shortage of reefer drivers but a shortage of flatbed freight. Maybe the reefer freight gets them closer to a pick up or to keep them moving instead of sitting.

that would make sense if all we had were reefers and flats...but we have quite a bit more van freight going everywhere all the time....from what I have gathered from other reefer drivers is that our route takes us generally from wi to pa or tx then back to wi wash rinse repeat...

Did you send in your arrival call?
Did you log 15 mins for check-in?
Have you sent msg that you are in Detention time? I know it's the weekend, but you need that trail for your FM to approve.
Are you in the sleeper? No off-duty time.
When they finally load you, log ON-duty and 15 min check-out. (that is for CYA purposes.)
Msg 61 and then load call.

I have never been denied with all of those items checked.
