I was a former driver, I went out for a few days and was cut loose. The training can be up to 6 weeks, just depends on how quick you pick it up. If the trainer does not feel you are ready you might go back in for more training.

what do you mean u was a former driver?
-
I think he meant he had experience with driving before his latest gig with Mav.
-
Duh! I should have figured that out. It's been a long week.
-
I came off the road in 04. Drove for a local company , then left driving for about a year and a half. Most companies want recent OTR or a refresher cousre. Mav does not require that if you have a CDL.
-
Well, I'm going to send my app in tommorow. Hopefully it won't take too long for things to happen.
-
I have only about a year and a half otr and am driving locally now, but am unloading. I drive for Pepsi. Thinking about returning to otr, but am hesitant. Can you tell me what a driver can expect to make at this company? And are the loads pretarped? Tuition reimbursement?
-
Brand new drivers without a CDL avg over $52.500 their 1st year, with weekends home. No tuition reimbursement. No pretarped loads. At least not in the US div. Not sure about the glass div. -
