Paralle parking comes with exp.You have to know and understand the concept of backing,and understand your trk and trl if any of that makes since.

Some of the smaller rest areas you do have to parallel park, so it does come in handy once in a while.

Massachusetts is one of them . You have to parallel park sight side and blind side as well as off-set backing and alley dock..Thats how it was when i went for mine a few years back. I have yet to use either parallel park side..easy enough to do but a pointless part of the test.

Rest areas in Kansas seem to be majority parallel parking too.

A? B? Pups? I didn't see any difference between the trucks in those two videos...But then again, that's why we're called noobs!

A combination tractor trailer has 1 pivot point... the fifth wheel.
A "B" train has 2.
the first fifth wheel and the second fifth wheel.
The A train has what is called a convertor dolly between the two boxes.
This means that instead of 2 pivot points there are 3 !
the first fifth wheel, the pintle hitch which attaches the convertor dolly and the fifth wheel on the convertor dolly. Way harder to back up than a "B" !
The C train's convertor dolly has an unbending attachment to the first box instead of a pintle hitch so it acts more like a B train.
I'm going to try to upload pics of the three configurations. If it doesn't work just call me a newbie poster. I am doing my best.
