Seen a Myers truck out by Dallas yesterday late in the afternoon, probably your old Pete, it was maroon.

Transport or tri-axle? Matts buying a few transports to get into the produced water jobs.
I'll be down at Dallas pike Tommorow afternoon, bringing down some goodies from Cleveland. -
Tri-axle, I was taking water out to a pool in BFE Beham, PA. I never knew what living off the grid was until I moved up here, nothing like a 5,000 gallon tri-axle trucking down Beham Ridge road.
When I do move back to Florida at some point, I will never, and I say never forget this experience. You haven't driven until you driven western PA roads in my opinion. -
I try to tell other guys I talk to about PA and WV roads, and they always talk about mountain crossings out west or other places that have bad roads but I'll tell you that roads around here will challenge the best of them.
pathfinder1361 Thanks this. -
I agree! Even SE Ohio has some annoying roads. Like the wonderful OH-646 near Steubenville lol. I like the western mountains a lot better then the roads around here.

Just ask John Boy from over in the Calex thread. He's driven OTR for over 30 years and says that you haven't trucked until you've driven the back roads of Pennsylvania...and he's right. Just 5 miles from my house is road that has a 20% grade on it.

Good ol SNI would be blowin the brakes off on that hill, lol.
Dont get me wrong SNI has some good quality drivers in their fleet, but they also train alot of newbies and the oil field in PA pulling a sand can isnt exactly a good fit for a newbie, ya know.
Green Machine, do you haul only cement or do you make it into steel mills any? -
I just haul cement. Also flyash and slag to some readymix plants.
Be nice if I could find a sand company closer to me, unless the others in PA (Valley, RAM, etc..) allow me to bring the truck home when I'm home... I can't remember if Bessemer Supply hauls sand or not, and if they do their rates probably aren't that good... -
Not at all ...driver. Just happen to KNOW trucks, trucking and corporate policies, lines of thought and attitudes toward and about drivers. While always plausible as everything is , I found it "doubtful" especially when SNI is involved.
Nothing personal at all, just an invite to remove a pair of rose colored glasses...... driver......pathfinder1361 Thanks this.
