I do general freight, if it fits on the trailer, without hanging over the sides. Here is my list.
Tarps for loads up to 48' X 8'6" X 8'6"
20 chains and binders
30 4" X 30'straps
30 sliding winches (15 per side)
8 2" X 30' ratchet straps
8 sets of coil racks and dunnage -
It's handy to have some 2" ratcheting straps. Other day I was hauling some lumber and a band broke. I was able to wrap a 2" ratchet strap around to keep the load together.

do you guys wind the 4" straps up in the winches and tighten them down on the rail when empty or do you roll them and stow them

Diesel Dave and cgilliland Thank this.

I remove them and roll up then rubber band em. Theyre much easier to throw accurately when you hook first then throw a roll, especially in very high wind. And when you run them through the winch with only one wrap of diameter theyll get way way tighter vs whole strap on winch. I tuck the tail slack under the work end to pad the trailer edge.
Leaving all 40' on the winches means youve got to tighten all the slack before they snug up, and youll notice the straps get a goofy cupping sorta wavy stretch pattern over time.cgilliland Thanks this.
